The Samuel Bell Memorial Foundation is dedicated to honoring the life of one of Chicago's most fun-loving, generous, creative, funny, and wonderful individuals. Sam's legacy of living life to the fullest (usually with a theme) is celebrated by the foundation with community fundraising events and youth leadership scholarships.

Sam Bell spent his life making the world a brighter place with his genuine charm and colorful personality. Sam was a home-grown Illinois guy, he grew up in Galesburg and attended college at Eastern Illinois University. After college, Sam continued building a life of purpose and passion as a business professional, volunteer, and active member of the Chicago community. He is remembered by friends, family, neighbors, clients, mentees, and strangers for many amazing reasons which stem from his pure and kind heart. 

Not only did Sam strive to make the world a brighter place for all who knew him, but he was also dedicated to Chicago's youth and committed more than 12 years to the Midtown Educational Foundation as a youth volunteer mentor and Auxiliary Board Member. 

The Samuel Bell Memorial Foundation is dedicated to honoring Sam's passions for community and youth leadership. Our second annual fundraising event will take place in May 2025 where proceeds will be donated to Sam's Charity of Choice, Midtown Educational Foundation, and individual scholarships for Chicago youth.
