Sam Bell spent his life making the world a brighter place with his genuine charm and colorful personality. Sam was a home-grown Illinois guy, he grew up in Galesburg and attended college at Eastern Illinois University. After college, Sam continued building a life of purpose and passion as a business professional, volunteer, and active member of the Chicago community. He is remembered by friends, family, neighbors, clients, mentees, and strangers for many amazing reasons which stem from his pure and kind heart.

Sam believed in youth development and leadership. As a youth mentor, he dedicated time to build meaningful and long-lasting relationships with youth and their families.
Proceeds from the foundation's annual fundraising events create unique scholarship opportunities for Chicagoland youth.
